Game on! Major Indoor Sports Facility Planned Next Door to Harlow

Big things are happening next door to Harlow. Following the recent announcement of the Bluestone Hub retail precinct, planning is now underway for a brand-new $60 million indoor sports facility right on our doorstep.

Located just off Derrimut Road and on the fringe of our neighbouring future Major Town Centre, the Tarneit Indoor Sports Facility is set to become a go-to destination for local families, fitness lovers and community groups.

This state-of-the-art venue is expected to include:

• Four indoor multi-use sports courts
• Four community program rooms
• Café and office spaces
• Onsite amenities and parking

Future plans could also see the facility expand to include additional courts and even a dedicated gymnastics hall, creating more opportunities for locals to play, move and connect.

Wyndham City has appointed Brand Architects as the lead design consultant, with the team now beginning detailed investigations and concept planning.

“Sport is more than play; it’s empowerment,” says Wyndham City Mayor, Councillor Mia Shaw. “The Tarneit Indoor Sports Facility will provide residents with opportunities to stay fit and healthy – both mentally and physically – and improve social connections within the community.”
