The school holidays are almost here and there’s no shortage of ways to keep the kids entertained without travelling too far from home! We’ve rounded up some of the best activities happening on your doorstep so you can spend less time searching for ideas and more time with your little ones.

Active Holidays: Active Fun

If you’re looking to burn off the kids’ energy, this is the one to bookmark! Wyndham City’s free Active Holidays program partners with local sports clubs and community organisations to run a jam-packed timetable of activities, with sessions to suit everyone from toddlers through to teens.

Wyndham Libraries School Holiday Program

 

21 September – 2 October. Various times and locations.

Enjoy a free line-up of events across a range of local libraries. Whether it’s the Australian Ballet Dancing Story at Werribee Library, an illustration and author workshop with Kym Langfield to a craft session at Hoppers Crossing Library, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Rocket Academy LEGO Robotics: Master Makers Workshop

 

Various Saturdays, 1.15-2pm. Point Cook Community Learning Centre.

For kids in Grades 3-5 who love building and problem-solving, this workshop steps things up with LEGO Education Robotics. Only $25 each, get ready to explore testing, debugging and iterative design.
