Late last month, we held a groundbreaking ceremony to mark the official start of construction for Stages 1 and 2 in our community. We’re thrilled to have reached this stage in our development, which brings our future residents one step closer to building their dream homes.

Hitting the tools

We’re pleased to have awarded civil works to the expert team at Winslow Construction, who will kick things off with site preparation and bulk earthworks. This will involve cutting and filling soil throughout Stages 1 and 2 to achieve desired levels before topsoil is compacted over the road and lot areas.

The team will then move on to the installation of Sewer and Drainage pipes, as well as recycled and potable water (drinking water) which will all connect to existing infrastructure.

Then, things will really start to take shape with roadways prepared via concrete formwork in the form of Road Boxing, Kerb and Channel, before Electrical and Communication cabling is laid.

Finally, the Footpaths and Road Asphalting will finish off the process to get each Stage to a point of Practical Completion whereby it is deemed officially acceptable by Wyndham City Council.

Where life grows

In other news, a brand new childcare centre is also on the way for the community, to be constructed as part of the Stage 5 subdivision works.

With over 770m² of outdoor play area and enough space for 100+ enrolments, the childcare centre will a fantastic space for little ones to learn, and fantastically convenient for Harlow parents!

Currently, plans are subject to council approval, so we will be sure to keep you up to date as things progress.
