On Wednesday 28 September, members of SIG Group, RPM and the project team gathered to turn the first soil, marking the official start of our community where life grows.

With shovels in hand, our team got stuck in, marking the start of preliminary earthworks that will be completed by the Winslow Construction team (who will be working with some slightly heavier machinery!).

Officiating at the groundbreaking ceremony was Development Manager, Aaron Hatton, who welcomed the first digger on site.

“Nothing is more exciting than seeing the civil crews and machinery assembling onsite and knowing that in a few months’ time the project will really start to take shape.

SIG Group are committed to delivering an exceptional community in the heart of Tarneit and we look forward to achieving more exciting milestones over the journey,” he added.

A photographer and film crew were also in attendance to capture the momentous occasion. After all, it’s not every day you see a community start to come to life!
